Dr. Ricardo M. Tubbs
Dr. Ricardo M. Tubbs is a Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine, public health professional, retired U.S. Navy officer, author, and lifelong martial artist. His approach to healthcare is shaped by nearly 24 years of military service and a career dedicated to service, discipline, and whole-person healing.

Dr. Tubbs served on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, later advancing to Chief Independent Duty Corpsman and commissioning as an Environmental Health Officer. His diverse background includes operational service alongside U.S. Marines, Joint Forces, and Naval Special Warfare, where he functioned as a preventive medicine authority, responsible for force health protection, environmental health, and disease prevention in austere and high-tempo environments. He retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) and is a 100% combat-disabled veteran.

His clinical mission is to help patients—especially veterans and active individuals—restore function, resilience, and long-term health.
Physical Therapist Expertise
Dr. Joseph Fraley
Dr. Joseph Fraley is a Doctor of Chiropractic, educator, and integrative healthcare leader whose passion for healing spans generations. His interest in healthcare began early, inspired by his grandfather, who entered the chiropractic profession in 1946. That legacy of service and hands-on care continues to shape Dr. Fraley’s approach to patient-centered, evidence-informed practice.

Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Fraley served in the U.S. Army as both an EMT and paratrooper, experiences that instilled discipline, resilience, and a deep respect for functional, real-world medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and a second Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, followed by advanced graduate-level training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in 2006.

After graduation, Dr. Fraley and his wife, Stacy, returned to New Mexico, where he established a successful private practice. He is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, a Fellow of the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedics, and a Diplomate of the International Academy of Neuromuscular Medicine. His clinical expertise spans spinal and extremity care, orthopedics, neuromuscular medicine, and complex functional conditions.

Dr. Fraley currently leads a multifaceted integrative wellness clinic in Ruidoso, New Mexico, where chiropractic care is seamlessly combined with naprapathic medicine, clinical nutrition, and functional neurology. His work reflects a systems-based philosophy that prioritizes structure, function, inflammation control, and neurological integrity.

In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Fraley is deeply committed to education. He is the Lead Instructor for the Master of Science in Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition program at Southwest University of Naprapathic Medicine (SUNM) and has played a pivotal role in developing the university’s nutrition curriculum. His extensive knowledge of nutrition and metabolic health informs both his teaching and clinical practice, reinforcing the central role nutrition plays in long-term health, recovery, and disease prevention.

Dr. Fraley’s career reflects a rare combination of military service, academic rigor, clinical excellence, and generational commitment to healing—making him a cornerstone of integrative healthcare in southern New Mexico.
